Sometimes it's the Plate

Angel of Death

In the olde tyme printmaking class, ye ol' printmaster used to bitch to us about many things. One was that we should not get into making the plate look cool, because all that matters is how it prints. Well, after a disappointing proof, today I'm just gonna sit here and enjoy this plate, because it looks cool. Maybe I'll just frame the damn thing, because it's soothing to behold, unlike the muddy print.

By the heavenly glow of Thomas Kinkaid, I banish myself to the Land of Shades.
